Going out with a bang

This year has been a whirlwind for me. 2012 was filled with both good and bad. At the start of the year I was still sharing a room with Emma in my best friends house, I was depressed, lonely and scared. I moved into my own apartment and worked my ass off (sometimes very long hours) to support the two of us and unfortunately some other shitty financial situations (like Emma's vision therapy not being covered by insurance). But I am here now standing up strong and proud on my own two feet. I am happy.

And to end this year I even received a great offer...to make 2012 go out with a bang. I have been working two jobs and running around between the both of them. Overworked and stressed but because I had to since the hours were only part-time each. But today I was approached by my boss of one of the jobs and was offered a full time position Monday-Friday 8-4 (hours that fit perfectly with Emma's school hours! So now I can both drop her off and pick her up without having to rely on my mom all the time) I'll even get full benefits, like paid time off and health insurance. AND supposedly the insurance is better than what I currently have and has a great vision plan so possibly Emma's therapy will be covered! Aaah I'm ecstatic. I look forward to what 2013 has to bring and am so excited to start my new position in January. I have a good feeling about 2013 I think this is going to be a good year....
